Is this you?
From Advertising Age, analysis of beer drinker's psychographics:
Hmmm. Anyone we know fit this?
CRAFT BEERS
These specialty made beers get lumped into one category both because there are fewer fans (and thus less statistically significant data) of them, but also because the personalities of one type fairly well describe another. This group is more likely to spend time thinking about beer rather than work. They are more open-minded than most people, seek out interesting and varied experiences and are intellectually curious. Craft-beer drinkers also skew as having a lower sense of responsibility—they don't stress about missed deadlines and tend to be happy-go-lucky about life.
Hmmm. Anyone we know fit this?

Is there a certain time you need a response by?

Re: Is this you?
By varied experiences do they mean drinking 1 round of IPAs, followed by a rich porter, sneak in a red and wrap it up with a delicious marzen?
I got giddy just typing that, but it took me at least 20 minutes just to figure out what beer types to list...

I am, as I read this, enjoying my first ever craft-beer out of a can experience. Dale's Pale Ale. I certainly think more about beer than work. When I am at work I often think about beer. When I am with beer, I NEVER think about work.

It's as much a regional thing as anything else. Most UP students I knew had an appreciation for craft beer, even if they didn't drink it all the time. Something about living in Portland, it rubs off on you.

Re: Is this you?
I'm not a beer drinker by any stretch (not gonna lie... I just don't really enjoy it that much, especially the really hoppy ones), but even having said that... I can't drink the big domestics, which you would think someone who doesn't like beer would be able to choke down. When I do have beer, it pretty much has to be a microbrew amber or blonde or whatever. Unless it's a Stiegl, in which case I make an exception.
It's comes with the territory of living in Portland.
