Megan in Chicago Win

Was fun watching Megan R in the Chicago WPS win yesterday. She has a lot of fire and looked really good. Does anyone else agree that the foul called against her for a PK was lame?

The only good part of the foul was that TIffany M for FC Gold buried the PK.

Here is the recap of the match. The fun part with this is that 3 former Pilots were involved. Megan fouled Christine Sinclair and Tiffany took and made the PK.

Megan + Christiane = soccer bliss. Lucky me, I get to see the Red Stars play LA Sol in August.

Great through ball from Megan on the second goal.

And Millie still looks like she can play.

Brandi Chastain, however, didn't impress, much. Watch Christiane's third goal. (about the 4:00 mark)

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Remember the talk when Megan returned from her rehab? Energy and intensity back ? Yes...No question. We all saw though.. that she was a little bit rusty...her timing with shots and passes were off!

Man!? Can we all officially proclaim that she's back? To me, she's brought it with the last couple of WNT games...and then again with this match against FC Gold! That long midfield pass at the 2:00 mark of that clip where she threaded a pass with so much precision through that 3-man backline to a streaking Christine......was brilliant!!!!! It took the broadcaster's breath away!! Mine too!! Thanks for posting it PG!
