Yesterday's upset of #4 Gonzaga by Arizona showed that they are beatable if you can play good zone defense. I think that this is encouraging for teams like UP that might not have as much athletes or as much depth as GU but have a few guys who really can match up well (like Campbell vs. Pargo). In a post game interview one of the Arizona players said that a lot of the Gonzaga players like to shoot, but, don't like dribbling and putting the ball on the floor so much. In fact, a lot of Few's teams in recent years seem to really spot up and shoot in tighter defensive games instead of driving toward the hoop. That's how they looked against Davidson last year in the tourney too. Here's to hoping that the Pilots play some good zone against them later this year...
