Pilot Badge...
You know, I was looking at those photos that ohh_yeah took at the Timbers meeting, and I noticed that the Beavers and Timbers were both using the "badge" style logo that is kind of old-school... looks like an old baseball patch or something like that. Anyway, so I threw one together for the Pilots. Very amatuer (took only a few minutes) but I think something like this could look really cool on a shirt/bag/patch etc.

What do all ya'll think?

It's time to move on! Bygones!
I like it, Stonehouse... that would make a good looking t-shirt or beer coaster or seat cushion...
I would like to see a bit more use of the P logo on its own... not everything has to have the full "portland pilots" new font thing...

Haha, what can I say, as much as I like the new stuff... it strikes me as a bit generic... And when do we actually get a mascot??
maybe a Purple Man like green man in always sunny??

SOMETHING!!

Stoney, I don't know about the patch, but I LOVE the use of "y'all"

Pretty sweet. I like the simplicity of it. Hopefully, we don't get sued by Starbucks by using a circle in the logo.
Just kidding...

Stabucks will have to get in line. The "P" is trademarked, so I imagine the University will be coming after Stoney's car and dog.

Seconded. Perhaps a "throwback" patch?

Yeah, the first thing that pops into my head is either a boat wheel or a tiny anchor...

I believe the correct term for that is "old school," as opposed to the Pilot Wheel which would be "throwback."

I like that badge, Stoney. . . and I second the UP7587's idea of a PilotNation badge. . . Now if I only had some graphic arts talent. . .
