Per Concordia University site, UP will host CU at 5:30 on 3/17.
Anyone know of any other spring matches?

No, but I'm planning early to go to the UW Tournament in the Fall, I don't care when it is.
Re: Spring ball
I must be subscribed to something in my calendar, because these women’s Spring matches showed up ( all on Sundays)
3/17 UP v Concordia 6:00 PM ( Franz Campus)
3/ 31 UP v Alumnae 11:00 AM ( Merlo )
4/7 UP v PSU 1:00 PM ( Merlo)
4/14 UP v OSU 1:00 PM (Merlo)
I’m betting there is also a “secret” scrimmage against the Thorns again.

Seriously, keep an eye on the schedule. If what I think is right, is right, we'll want to fill the stands for the UW Tournament. (Think "Ellen Parker's greatest goal ever.")

Amanda Frisbie’s greatest assist?
And a halftime bonus.

Re: Spring ball
This Sunday’s game has been moved to Merlo. Rumor has it
the games is a closed game and not against Concorda. Attendees might have to watched over the fence. Beyond moving to Merlo the rest is strictly rumor.

The fact that something for the women is scheduled for Merlo earlier in the day on Sunday may not mean there's been a change in the Concordia time or location.

The Pilot Women’s Soccer Instagram feed thanks the Thorns for an awesome scrimmage.

Re: Spring ball
Pilots won today against Portland State 5-0. Portland State look to be in for a very long 2019 season, whereas the Pilots looked good given that it's Spring ball. Shots were 29-1.
Taryn Ries had 3 goals, plus I voted for giving her a 4th since she sent a hard cross that hit a Portland State player in the back and ricocheted in.

Re: Spring ball
Crediting her with a 4th goal would be consistent with ncaa scorekeeper guidelines.
In the past, a ball off the crossbar hitting a keeper in the back and going in has also been credited as a goal by the shooter in both ncaa and fifa.
This is different than a defender trying to make a play on the ball and screwing it up.
And if I recall Rachel Khaw got the other goal by getting behind the defense and seeking the keeper, who came waaay out.
And players played positions other than what we are used to seeing, with pretty good success. Of course, as UPSF states, PSU is a bit of a work in progress.
An offensive player whose shot is deflected into the goal by the goalkeeper or a defender receives credit for the goal, provided the momentum of the shot carried the ball into the goal.
An offensive player whose pass is deflected into the goal by a defender or whose pass is mishandled by the goalkeeper and allowed to cross into the goal shall receive credit for a shot and a goal, provided the defender never gained full control of the ball. This applies equally to corner kicks and throw-ins.

https://ihsaa-static.s3.amazonaws.com/soccer/soccerstatmanual.pdfWhen a defender kicks or heads the ball into the defenderʼs goal with the intent of making a pass to a teammate or of clearing the ball, a goal is not awarded to an individual but is recorded as an "own goal." An "own goal" counts towards the offensive (not defensive) team's season
