Ariel is on the list of early names of players who declared for the NWSL draft.

Love to see her get a chance at the next level.

She may follow Ellie Boon's footsteps. Ellie didn't get drafted, but went to the Thorns open tryouts. She didn't ultimately make the team, but she did get some pre-season game time. Typically, teams keep some amateur players available to play if they get depleted due to international call ups and injuries. I'm guessing that Ellie is in this boat with the Thorns. A couple of player have gone this route and eventually made it onto NWSL rosters.
