This announcement from Purdue came as a surprise to me at first, but this looks like a great fit for Dani...to be the new soccer coach of the Boliermakers.

Good for her.  But it is not Purdue the Big 10 team.  Purdue U. Northwest plays at the NAIA DII level. They are the Pride, with a lion mascot.
