WNT Brazil tournament

The US women are playing China today, I have not had much luck in finding a stream of the game from a trustworthy source.  Has anyone else found a good stream?  If so will you share the link with us?

(Registration as Physical person -- sort of a social security number used in all Brasilian transactions)

Foreigners normally get those through a consulate.

Usa 1-0 at the half. Rapinoe subbed out for the second half.

The only goal was Lloyd on a cross from Rapinoe for which she was praised and vilified.

Apparently she did something sneaky on a quick restart.

1-1 was the final. All camps aren't very happy for different reasons.

I'm not sure this is a ringing endorsement for USA hopes thais summer. They apparently were just not good.

Since then I found a site tha didn't require a CFP, but did require personal info.

My MAC software came out with the equivalent of a Tsunami warning siren at the coast.

I again declined.

The folks who did sign up said the video quality was such that the only person who they could positively identify was Rapinoe because of her hair.

It's a good thing this feed wasn't when she was a sophomore.

The lack of a free stream sure seems short sighted on the part of US Soccer. You would think that in the run up to the World Cup that they would be interested in building an audience rather than denying them.

Well, USSoccer has no broadcast rights in Brasil, so that may have been a problem.

There are some highlights up, though they don't show the restart on the Rapinoe goal that allowed her to get into the right corner.

That was apparently Press defending the China strike. She isn't a defender. Not sure how that was allowed to happen.

Usa lost to Marta and Brasil 2-3 after being up 2-0.

Megan did well. She got the assist to lloyd on the corner, then scored one herself and made a great feed to LeRoux that got her 1v1 with the keeper. No finish.

She finished with a post shot just before Press subbed in for her.
Seconds later Marta got the winner.

The team looked like a coach Ellis team. It could be a long summer.

The good news is that we might be playing Argentina twice if China beats Brasil, the next game and then the third place game. We wouldn't face a Brasil again.

Sounds like a blessing but Argentina beat Them  in September.

Well, the USA gets a second chance.

They pummeled Agentina 7-0 on a quad trick from Press and a hat trick from Lloyd.

Brasil didn't lay down against China to avoid the usa in the final and pummeled them. They are looking like the team of the tournament.

Now we get to. See if Jill learned anything about playing an honest defence with real holding players.

If they don't, they might find themselves losing to a team twice in the same tournament for the first time ever.

It is hard to say. One USA game could be seen without registering, of the three played. All of Brasil's turned out to be free, and was apparently also on a bootleg stream somewhere, but poor quality.

If I find a free stream I'll post it.

We played bunker ball for about 75 minutes, then brought in Rapinoe, Hao, and AROD. We had chances, didn't score.

Brasil celebrated winning the tournament, which had no tiebreaker.

We won't get past quarterfinals playing like this.
