Pilots vs. Gonzaga
Final regular season match. Too far for me to drive, but I plan to watch...and cheer. I hope they can hear me in the Palouse.

Alaska Airlines has three non-stop flights on Saturday that will get you to Spokane by game time. There are three flights back to Portland too, but you have to connect through Seattle.purple passion wrote:Final regular season match. Too far for me to drive.....
I think you'll find a few of us at the game.....but gotta get back for Sunday's final men's home game.

Re: Pilots vs. Gonzaga
UP ahead 2-0 at the half on a tap-in by Kendricks from an assist from DJ, and from a long shot by Viera (assist Boone? Wetherington). Ariel hit one of those to close out practice on Thursday.
Danica is out. She hurt her ankle on Wednesday and was on crutches and a boot Thursday.

Final is 3-0. The pilots finish with a win.
Hannah Griffiths-Boston got taken down in the box and Rebekah Kurle converted the PK.
UP had most of the possession and chances.

Re: Pilots vs. Gonzaga
Despite the challenges this season handed them, the team maintained their enthusiasm for the game to the end. Wonderful effort to finish the season. Already looking forward to next year.

Re: Pilots vs. Gonzaga
The Pilots dominated today. I think both teams ended at 4-4-1, but based on what I saw today, there was absolutely no comparison between the teams.A_Fan wrote:Despite the challenges this season handed them, the team maintained their enthusiasm for the game to the end. Geez asked me how it was to watch the game in person....my answer was, it was much colder than watching it live streamed. It was probably about 42 degrees with a wind chill of 39. Good thing my host for the day brought a flask.
I too look forward to next year.
