Roster on website lists Hanna De Haan, a 5'9"" sophomore from Germany. Angerer with the Thorns, De Haan with the Pilots!

Great news. Apparently with a Dutch club before she was with her German club Werder-Breman.

Hope we see a full announcement on the website to tell us more.

Have no idea whether she or Luty will likely start. De Haan has more experience.

Nice to see she is a Nike person despite being from the land of three stripes.

What a relief! Feel much better about the goalkeeper situation.

Does anyone know if she has reported for summer school like the freshmen have done?

I haven't been to a practice. But her season and her school year in Germany are over, so there isn't a reason she couldn't be here. But she might come in for the second summer session.

I understand that some of the players will be playing in some summer league games in a World Cup type  format. It's my understanding it starts tonight, but I don't know where and what time, and whether there will be two games or not on the first day. First games scheduled are USA vs Ghana and Germany vs Portugal. Chance for some of you locals to check out some of the freshmen in action.

Unfortunately, tonight is a Thorns night. But that's good to know usually those things are at Pru field in the early evening.
