Yea, I mean if you’re going to have a box, shouldn’t it at least be in your team colors?A_Fan wrote:I wondered about the necessity of that blue box as well. I am sure there is an evil plot afoot.
Now this is what I have in my “Man Cave.” It allows me to watch all the sports programming I can get, 24/7.
I bet you didn’t know they came in team colors!

Wow, UPSF, you ARE the face of the hard core soccer fan....listening on the RADIO to WSU v. Stanford.UPSoccerFanatic wrote:I thought the announcers were fine, notwithstanding the gaff about which coach was Garrett. I believe one of them is a former MLS player (Eskandarian). If you want bad, you should have heard the Stanford radio announcers for the Washington State game. Whine, whine, whine.
OK, I'll take your word that the announcers got better after I shut them down after only 10 minutes of play....they had nowhere to go but up.
Saw this picture of the Pilots being introduced at last night's game....I'm told the "fans" were only allowed to sit on one side of the stadium.....

Re: @ San Diego
The box score said 566 fans. I wonder how many we're Pilot fans?

I'm pretty sure no doctors came out of the box on the field.

Re: @ San Diego
The fans were all sitting on the other side, probably since that side would be shown on TV.
Like I said, from the TV broadcast that DD turned down, I heard a loud "let's go Portland" chant and also plenty of "Go Pilots" and other purple team cheers. I would say that we traveled well.

I don't remember the exact comment, or whether to believe the announcer, but he indicated that Ellen Parker might be back soon.
Does anyone know anything about Micaela's injury?

Re: @ San Diego
The announcer said Ellen was "day to day," which means back any day. I'm thinking we'll see her next weekend, working her way back into game condition. It was great the Pilots could manage both wins today without her.

I attended a UP game at USD a few years back, and we were not allowed to sit on the other side. We originally walked over there and picked out seats, and security eventually came around and made us move back to the main side saying those sections were closed.

Re: @ San Diego
Not to start a rumor or anything, but my understanding is that Micaela might be out the rest of the season. I'm sure someone else will tell me I'm wrong and that I shouldn't start rumors.

I think you started a rumor. Have you been to practice lately?
She might be out....or she might not.
