USA FACES SWEDEN IN VOLVO WINNERS CUP: After a nine-day training camp in Gothenburg, Sweden, the U.S. Women’s National Team traveled south to Halmstad to prepare for two games over a three-day stretch in the first-ever Volvo Winners Cup, starting with a match against host Sweden at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 16, at Örjans Vall Stadium. The USA then takes on 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup champion Japan at 7 a.m. ET on Monday, June 18, at Örjans Vall Stadium. The games serve as further tune-ups for all three teams for the 2012 London Olympics starting on July 25.
BOTH U.S. MATCHES BROADCAST ON UNIVERSAL SPORTS NETWORK: Both matches will be broadcast on the Universal Sports Network, which is providing live coverage of the June 16 match at 10 a.m. ET and a tape-delayed broadcast of the June 18 game at 10 a.m. ET. The two games will be available live on UniversalSports.com. Fans can also follow both matches via ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and on Twitter @ussoccer_wnt. U.S. head coach Pia Sundhage has brought 22 players to Sweden – the 18-player roster that will compete in the Olympics and four Olympic alternates.

US wins 3-1. Megan played well being subbed out midway through the second half. Unfortunately Chastain was announcing again, I fear we may be stuck with her for the Olympics.

I watched the whole thing with the sound off. Much better that way.
It's not just Chastain. Any of the old guard just want to talk about when they played, which when I look at old games, wasn't any better.
In the China WC final they never did string more than two passes together.

Also the guy who was announcing with her didn't know how to pronounce Rapinoe. He said it wrong twice before someone corrected him via his earpiece. He did however have good things to say about Megan, which moves him up a notch compared to Brandy.
Actually I thought Mia was a pretty good commentator in this past World Cup. She wasn't a main announcer, but whenever they talked to her, she was insightful without being overbearing.
