LaMarcus Aldridge game? Empty LaMarcus Aldridge game?

According to the Oregonian, LA plans to host an exhibition game at the Chiles Center on Nov. 6th.
Before the NBA lockout wiped away the first two weeks of the regular season — and reportedly more — the Trail Blazers were scheduled to play the Phoenix Suns Nov. 6. at US Airways Center.

But it appears the Suns' home arena will be taking a back seat to the Chiles Center that day.

According to source with knowledge of the talks, LaMarcus Aldridge and the University of Portland are ironing out "contractual details" to hold an exhibition game Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chiles Center.

Although the source cautioned that "nothing is certain at this point," it appears the sides are close to finalizing the deal that Aldridge teased Monday afternoon on Twitter.

Besides a few tweets from Aldridge on Twitter, no formal announcement has been made regarding Aldridge's exhibition game. But the power forward said on Twitter that three players (Kevin Durant, Wesley Matthews and Jamal Crawford) have agreed to play and that he would announce more details later this week.

The Chiles Center, which seats 4,852, was offered to Aldridge by UP men's basketball coach Eric Reveno via Twitter.

Here is the link if you want to see the nice picture of Coach Reveno: Link.

Tickets a little steep for you? Hint: There's a women's game that afternoon and if you go in the band's storage space and crouch behind the tubas no one will see you...

Seems pretty like a cheap thing to do when the proceeds go to charity... Rolling Eyes
