The Men's and women's soccer committees voted NOT to unify the college cups, and the women's soccer committee will proceed to solicit bids for the 2012 event "soon"

Also, they are petitioning the competition committe for a 1-2-1-2 format, and no substantial changes will be made to the RPI.

And the future CC dates:

Year..First possible contest date...Selections......College Cup

2011....Aug. 19...........................Nov. 5-7.......Dec. 2 and 4

2012.....Aug. 17...........................Nov. 3-5......Nov. 30 and Dec. 2

2013.....Aug. 23...........................Nov. 8-10....Dec. 6 and 8

Enjoy it all here:

Great job finding this, Geez. For those who don't regularly search the NCAA website, over the last year, the NCAA has been revamping its website and has made it more difficult to follow what the individual NCAA sports committees are doing. There sometimes are ways to find out, but it takes a lot of diligence. GO GEEZ!

I'd like to take credit.

As UPSF points out, the public has been locked our of a lot of the committee work stuff on the new website. You can occasionally find a "back door" but it's not a reliable way to find out stuff.

But this got dumped into my lap from the NCAA itself. All you need to do is subscribe to the daily news update which gives you an email a day:

http://web1.ncaa.org/newsDirect/subscribe.jsp

And do the diligence to read it each day.
