Sandwiched between Duke and Louisville, according to the Premium side of Jerry Palm's www.collegerpi.com.
Here's a copy/paste of the Top 10. A LOT of basketball yet to be played, but nicely done by the Pilots thus far.

Edited to add: This can also be found this morning via Palm's non-Premium site -- which has Monday morning updates.

I'll agree with you on the "lots of basketball yet to be played" comment, GoZags.

I'll also say that in the 8 years I've followed Pilot basketball (from my first game as a student to now), this is going to be one hell of a fun season...the most fun I've had in a while, for damn sure.

I don't care how early in the season it is. I will get excited about a top five ranking. In fact, I shall drink to it!

Huh...So there's the rank on the left, and then it says rank on the right in parenthisis as well 5. and (71). What is # 71???

I'll use this as an excuse for a beer, but, I'm not sure what I'm drinking to... I'd rather toast a win over Gonzaga. I think we can take them at home.

Realtime RPI also has us @ #5. I'm not sure if it will hold up, but, I like it. We're now favorites over UCLA.
