Re: Top Drawer Top 100 for 2010
for comparison, here's a list from Takkle.com, another site that does a top 50 National ranking.
http://www.takkle.com/rankings/soccer?gender=female
Just remember some our best players never made any National ranking, starting with Jessica Tsao.
(4) Erin Dees - GK
(5) Michelle Cruz - FWD
(13)Amanda Frisbie - Fwd
(18)Nichole Downing - GK

Re: Top Drawer Top 100 for 2010
what i love best about jess is, an i dont think many people realize is, that she was [i believe] the 3a player year of the year her soph an jr seasons as an offensive player. she torn her acl occured early in her senior season around the same time as meg's did. personally, i am more surprised by her defense, not her offense. but, i believe clive usually took really good offensive players an made them outside defenders.

Re: Top Drawer Top 100 for 2010
Anyone have any thoughts as to why our 2010 recruits are ranked so much higher on Takkle.com than on Top Drawer?

Re: Top Drawer Top 100 for 2010
Good to hear we have another forward named Michelle coming!
I wish I had seen Jessica Tsao play for Oregon Episcopal School. I'd heard of her talent but never saw her as a prep player. Nowadays, watching her attack up the wing and get deep into the goal box to make a pass, I can imagine that she was a force back in HS -- the type of player the other team truly fears and can't stop for long.

Re: Top Drawer Top 100 for 2010
I worked a few of her games in high school and club. She was (is!) the whole package: fast, clever, and a lethal shot. The only question I had was how she would stack up against top level competition. No questions any more...

Re: Top Drawer Top 100 for 2010
I think we have the most talented wing d-backs in (Jessica and Ellie) in the country. They regularly make deep foward runs offensively. They're exciting to watch. In the last game clip versus the Zag...much of the highlights included Jessica and Ellie working it around the box!

And on defense almost no one gets past Jessica or Ellie. They have the speed and the skill. But the Pilots do need their center back ranks replenished. The playoffs would be a tough climb without some combination of Cloee, Kassie and Michelle O healthy in the middle.
