Megan Rapinoe on Fox 12 Tonight

I heard that Megan Rapinoe will be featured in studio tonight on Fox 12's Oregon Sunday Sports Final (11 p.m.).

Megan was interviewed tonight on KGW's "Sports Sunday" that ran after the NFL game. She sounded extremely confident and emphasized the "heart" the team has. The video backing up the interview included her goal vs. NAU as well as action vs. Texas.

She also talked about how the UP fans and UP players feed off of each other.

"for College soccer, there's no place better"

This is off topic but relevant. Back in the day of 60's rock it used to be said that the Grateful Dead fans and band fed off each other and the official hippie of Woodstock characterized the relationship as follows

Just saw it. Fantastic interview by Megan. She is so relaxed in an interview situation. It's not that easy, believe me. What a great job for the team!

about 30 seconds... nice, and it was the lead, but the buildup was bigger.

Megan said that she was surprised by the WCC POY award because her "numbers" were down this season. Her numbers, however, didn't fool those (I assume it was the WCC coaches) who voted to honor her with the award. It was obvious to them that Megan was the soul of the team and that she was the inspiration behind the team's success and their going undefeated in conference.
