Well, I finally did it

Post by PurplePrideTrumpet on Wed Jun 03, 2009 12:02 pm

I went up to the Chiles Center and bought season tickets today. After last year it was inevitable, I suppose.

They sold me the whole seat, but I don't plan on doing much sitting... lol! Rolling Eyes

Welcome to the club!

Does anyone know how many season tickets UP has sold and how many they are willing to sell? At some point it may start squeezing out single-ticket buyers unless they add seating.

The website has said season ticket stadium chairs are sold out for the last season or two, but I think you can get them for individual games. The number of soccer season tickets is a good question. Keeping a balance between taking care of long time fans and gaining new ones is delicate, I imagine.

Congrats. Now you are a real fan. Did you get one of the fur lined ones?

I needed a new heel for my shoe so I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter you'd say. Now where were we, oh ya. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because if the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...."

Ultras in the fur-lined seats? Shocked Wink I would have considered it if there were any available, though. The valet parking and HD monitors would make it worth the price...

Anyone notice that the Geez is heading towards 3000 posts? Should get there in another day or two!

I just noticed that the women's soccer forum recently passed 10,000 posts. Wow!
