Pilot overload. Sounds like fun. Is Frenchie actually back on the field now?

Long day but worth it to get a Pilot 'fix'. Sinc scored the opening goal.....Tiff almost got the winner but ref didn't have guts enough to call a foul on Chicago in box!!!!!!!!!!!Good to see all 3 Pilots and visit.......

And Megan got the great assist on Cristiane's header to tie the game up. I was a bit surprised nobody asked why Megan got taken out. She was one of the only Red Stars doing anything.

Which brings up a point. They are trying to showcase world class players in the league so people will watch, and then they put up announcers who can't be bothered to learn the players names.

Note to announcers: Rant
Cristiane and Adriane are Brasilian Names, and they are First names. We are not talking about somebody from suburban Chicago. easy on the "e" on the end of the name, you ought to just hint at it like this or maybe don't try. . Adriane's first vowel should rhyme with "ah", not with "hey" )

and should it ever come up again, Pele is pronounced "Pay-lay" , possibly even "Pay-lee", but not "Pea-lee".

It just made me wince all through the game. No wonder Cristiane looked pissed at the end of the game......

Sounds like those UW guys who did a broadcast a couple of seasons ago got promoted to the WPS. Remember that pair? They were unprepared and hilariously ignorant of the sport. They were entertaining for a millisecond...before they came irksome. It was funny...I remember many in Pilot Nation listening in on the match turned off audio.

GO PILOTS!!!

Yes, those UW guys were hopeless. I could tell they were sitting right across from the scoreboard and they managed to get information that was right in front of them on the scoreboard wrong.

Nice. Bay Area's assistant Brazilian coach, Sissi, was recently named to their team as a "developmental player" so hopefully she'll be on the pitch with Sinclair and Milbrett soon. There's lots of Brazilian influence on that team.

I live in Northern California so I have had the opportunity to see a couple of FC Gold Pride Games. I went to see the them play Chicago specifically to see Megan Play. I'm not sure why they took her out either since her replacement did nothing!

I do have one observation. I like the level of play but in order for the leagure to survive, thier needs to me more shots on goal to make it more exiciting for the fans.
