Re: Sonics to Oklahoma City
Ugh.... Its going to be such a disaster.... FSN in seattle has Huskies, Cougars AND the Beavers this fall, although without basketball to show it will probably work out fine... I could see CSN grabbing OSU, which would make more sense and keep it strictly oregon or HOPEFULLY just have them create a separate one for the Seattle Area.... ugh my head hurts... I'm going to go get a beer.

Re: Sonics to Oklahoma City
I'm with DaTruRochin... I thought, (that's what I get for thinking!), CSN NorthWest was an EXCLUSIVE partnership between the Blazers and them. No Blazers deal, no CSNNW!!!
The Blazers, of course, couldn't fill up the schedule 24/7, so CSN said that they would fill the gap with OREGON college and high school sports and any other Oregon sports of interest.
What's this about UW and WSU, Geezer? They're on FSN, right? That's a Seattle based network, right? And the Hawks and Mariners can negotiate their own partnership with CSN and call it CSN NNW!!! That's North-NorthWest!!!

(I believe I read earlier that the Beavs will move to CSN when their contract expires with FSN.)
I am going to read that article today, Geez. It's in Thursday's Trib paper, and certainly online at www.portlandtribune.com .

Re: Sonics to Oklahoma City
The story, as it turns out, is in the Tribune. It's worth a read.
OSU will stay with FSN a while. apparently there is a long term contract.
CSN is looking to sign contracts with the Washington schools as an entry to the Seattle market. (where they will try to also sell the Blazers.)
CSN has the old Blazer library, so expect to see old Blazer games this summer.
CSN is looking to carry Ducks baseball when that starts up, as well as the current contracts with the football team.
OH yeah - there will be a reality show called "Camp Glanville", an insider's view of the vikings program. That might be fun.

Haha.... OK I take it all back if they start showing Blazers games up here... I mean none of our bars have smoke, but if I can watch my beloved red and black in the comfort of my own living room that would be fantastic!!!
