Pilots vs. Pepperdine

With eight minutes left in the first half, we're shooting 4-13, have eight turnovers, and trail 15-9.

I believe that is the definition of "yuck."

I sure hope Rev lights a fire under our guys at halftime, because that was the most disgusting half of basketball I've ever personally witnessed.

15 points, 14 turnovers... holy Moses what is going on?

And the thing is, it's not like they are forcing them... we are traveling, airmailing passes out of bounds, not taking care of the ball... come on!

The one saving grace may be that when we were actually able to do it, whenever we got the ball to a big deep in the paint they would score. So if we can just keep on pounding it in there and stop the dang turnovers, we can come back.

Oh my God... how clutch was Nik? Two threes and a steal at the end. Too bad we couldn't get the win, but we've got all the momentum heading into OT.

Tough way for it to end... wish we could have gotten a better shot at the end.

Congrats to Pepperdine - they played a great game and really executed their game plan. Hard to believe that we outrebounded them and outshot them by as much as we did and still lost, but those turnovers just killed us. Damn.

Sigh...... next year!

Hard to win with a "point a minute" offense.

Waves shoot 31%, and miss 10 free throws (50%), and we still can't score enough to win this game!

This was the most disgusting and frustrating Pilots basketball game I have ever watched. Congrats to Pepp for executing their game plan, as we couldnt even come close.

We had nothing offensively other than an occasional Sherrard moment and Nik's two 3's. Credit part of that to Pepp's defense, but we couldnt execute anything.

I am VERY disappointed in the performance tonight. At tournament time we've got to bring SOMETHING. And we didnt.

It'll get worse next year--have you seen what Pep's done coaching and talent-wise? [shades of the 90's all over again]
