CBS March Madness Coverage Map

Looks like we get Portland State/Kansas at 9:25, Kentucky/Marquette at 11:30, Winthrop/Washington State at 4, and UCLA/Miss. Valley State at 6:30.

I'm a bit bummed that we're not getting the USC/Kansas State game (same time as the WSU game). I mean, I guess there are some Couger grads in Portland, but why is the whole state getting WSU instead of USC? We border both states... and I bet there are more USC fans in Oregon than WSU. Oh well.

Another potential annoyance... we're getting the constant feed of PSU and Kansas, which means that even if it turns into a blowout and there are much better games going on at the same time, they won't cut away.

Well, the Viks will just have to give them a game, now wont they?!

Hey, I get Friday off, and in a fit of poor planning I scheduled some dental work at 10:00 a.m. What will I be missing?

We get Gonzaga/Davidson at 9:30, San Diego/UConn at 11:30, Oregon/Miss. State at 4:30, and Boise State/ Louisville at 6:30.

The only annoying one there is BSU and Louisville... would prefer to see Indiana/Arkansas or Clemson/Villanova. But maybe Boise can give Pitino a run... that would be nice.

I must and shall take issue! As an alum of UP and WSU, I would venture to say there are more Cougar fans and alums in Oregon than USC Toejams. Remember, we keep it up in the old Wazzu!

Perhaps this is why we'd prefer another game

Yeah, you are probably right about alums. But I was thinking that a lot of the bandwagoneers from California that have moved up to Oregon over the years probably love the USC football team and, as a consequence, would root for the basketball team.

Either way, it's a moot point, since the Duke/Belmont game was clearly the best game and they switched to it pretty early. Too bad about that last inbounds play... they had someone open on it too! Rats!

There are TONS of WSU alums in SW Washington.

I will venture to say that there are MANY more WSU fans in the "TV Viewing Area" than USC.

Oh, and you can count me in as one of the Portland WSU fans...
