WCC Tournament Central

The 2008 Women's WCC tourney starts Thursday afternoon. The women play a standard 8-team bracket, with #1 playing #8, etc., except that the teams are re-seeded going into round 2 (the highest remaining seed plays the lowest).

The Pilots earned the #6 seed, and will play #3 and host, USD. We split with USD this year, each team winning on the road... it is just unfortunate to be playing the home/host team... game time is Thursday, 6pm. I would really really like to watch them play on Saturday (there are no women's games on Friday, and I fly down on Friday...), so I am pulling even harder for a win.

Women's seeds are as follows: GU #1, SCU #2, USD #3, LMU #4, SMC #5, UP #6, USF #7, Pepp #8. No word yet on broadcasts/media... I assume the WCC will be doing some sort of audio and/or video web casts.
