Spring ball

No word yet on a spring schedule for Spring Soccer. Most of those games will be called scrimmages and won't get any publicity. One or two games will get the full treatment of publicity and tickets.
You have to wonder if UP will try for a full blown National team, though, as short handed as they will be.
The news has just come over the wire, however, that USC announced Friday they will play Mexico at 7 p.m. Friday Feb 22 at the Coliseum. The USC press release tells us why:

Location: Lowry the tailor lived there when boys were boys. In his day he was fond of the gun. He always carried his powder loose in the tail pocket of his coat. If you missed it elsewhere, Larry Williams reported in an interview on KXL-750 that the women will play the u-23's in spring ball.
He also said the men will play "a couple of MLS teams"
