Coach Reveno is back in Oregon as associate head coach for Oregon State, replacing 2 assistants after they suffered a 3-28 season that surpasses even Pilot failures in the recent past. The guy is a glutton for punishment.

Great move on OSU's part and for the state of Oregon, IMO.

Not sure OSU will play UP this coming season (I'm pretty sure the Ducks are on the schedule), but you know it will happen in the future if Rev has anything to say about it.

Coach Tinkle at 6-10 and Coach Reveno at 6-8, will likely be among the taller head and associate head coaches in D1.

Perhaps Rev got out of Atlanta just in time, because his former boss at Georgia Tech, Josh Pastner, was fired today.

Although, with the Beavers going 11-21 (5-15), NET 223 (11th in the Pac12), Rev also might be looking for work.

I think Wayne Tinkle has a pretty large buyout, renegotiated when the Beavers reached the Elite Eight in 2021. Although he could make staff changes, I suppose.

ESPN reporting with @PeteThamel: Boston Celtics assistant Damon Stoudamire is finalizing a deal to become Georgia Tech's head coach. Stoudamire has informed the Celtics that he's accepting job and making the leap to the ACC.

Interesting hire...

As I recall UOP was a bit of a dumpster fire during Stoudamire's 5 season there, but he did turn the Tigers around to a tied for 3rd place finish in the 2019-20 season with an 11-5 WCC record.

From Portland, he would not be a good fit at UP...but he will be making in excess of $1M in Atlanta.

That is great news for Rev!!

Great school, great area, he is back in the ACC after being an assistant at Georgia Tech, and I expect he is being compensated very well.
