Young Alumni Event

Hey everyone... wanted to let you know that there will be a young alumni pre-game gathering on Friday, Jan. 25 at the Chiles Center. Free appetizers and beer - starting at 6 PM before the CS-Bakersfield game.

I was out of town for the last young alum event before the BYU game, but I heard it was a blast. I'll definitely be there for this one.

Mattywizz - are you in town that weekend? Or is it the weekend before?

It really sucks when one's graduating class is no longer considered in the "Young Alumni" category...

Ha! Well... there really didn't put a limit on it... you could stretch it out a bit!

"The University of Portland Pilots men basketball team will take on Cal State Bakersfield in the Chiles center on January 25 at 7:00 p.m. The alumni office is inviting all young alumni (graduates from the years 1997-2007) to a free pre-game Fan Fest in the Chiles Center. Come early at 6:00 p.m. and enjoy the party in the Hall of Fame room. Free food, beer, wine and soda will be provided. If you plan to attend, please give us a shout so we can be sure we’ve got enough goodies to go around, 503-943-7328. "

For free beer, I might just have to sneak in...

Ahhh... didn't see that one. I say go for it... i mean, are they going to be checking alumni cards at the door? Nah...
