UP-Oregon Empty UP-Oregon

Ducks beat UP 3-2 today. A couple entertaining plays

1) Ump turns back on the ball to look at second base and gets hit in the back, run for duckies.

UP catcher goes back to the backstop, misjudged the ball but makes circuits catch.

Anybody know the reason for the ejection?

The game would be more exciting if that backstop was electrified...

I forgot to mention the Pilots got a guy out at third with a nice relay from right.

Didn't seem to phase the Ducks

I'm glad the Pilots gave the Ducks some resistance. Sounds like they've got a good battery.

Seems to me I heard a bit of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" after that great play at 3rd base......

More Than just resistance.
UP had the potential to win that game right up until the last out.

Losing a game like that Hertz a bit.

Too bad no one hit for the cycle. Then the crowd could have done the sine wave.

The key was the cutoff play.
