But impressive, nevertheless!!

I noted that 3 of the top 5 schools are higher altitude schools.  Having once lived in Albuquerque (my house was just above the 6,000' level), I know how it feels to all of a sudden be at sea level.....you feel you can go forever with all those extra "little red box cars" transporting oxygen through your body.

The women’s team didn’t fare as well without their top two runners, and finished 26th out of 49 teams at the Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, IN today.  The top UP woman finished 96th in a time of 21:24 over the 6-K course.

They’ve still got the WCC’s and Regional’s coming up……I’m sure they’ll be out to prove they are better than was indicated today.

So true. I ran a 5k in Seattle a few years ago days after coming down from 5,000 ft. I was around 10 sec/mile faster than I should have been.
