Lady Pilots at top of WCC

Post by PurplePrideTrumpet on Sat Dec 08, 2007 9:33 pm

Saw on the Pilot site that the women "dismantled" (I like the word choice!) Eastern Washington, improving to a WCC-best 7-3. Great to see them having such a good year! I really like the group of players they have.

Dismantled doesn't do it justice. Garbage time started with a 71-39 lead halfway through the second stanza. The final 10 minutes was a parade of newcomers and underclassmen that had a good time.

Oddly, it wasn't offense that drove the win, but pretty aggressive defense.

Nice job.

This was definitely needed after the tough loss to Montana.

Sollars needs eight more wins to reach 300 at UP.

Was a great game - the band had a little too much fun. Razz Dismantled was a great word choice!

Not as much fun as the Duck alums I played with yesterday. The guy next to me would have been sent home before halftime at UP! But great to see that fromt the women.
