The Raptors don't have any picks in the upcoming draft so they have been working out a lot of guys they might sign as free agents. Last weekend they had a camp with 22 potential free agents, and apparently our boy Pooh made a good impression:

One player Toronto might invite back for a closer look, based on his performance over the weekend, was point guard Pooh Jeter, who played last season in the D-League for Colorado, the Raptors' affiliate there. "In college, he was a scorer and he's really developed from just a scorer into a point guard and his development has been incredible there," Kelly said. "He's been one of the better performers here."

Kelly is Toronto director of player personel Jim Kelly. It should be noted that Pooh was the only player singled out in the article as one that the Raptors might be interested in. It focuses on two Canadian guys (makes sense, I suppose), but Pooh is the only one the article (and Kelly) specfically mentioned as impressing the team.

Good luck Pooh!!!!!
