Sad day... tip-off for the first game started as I was hurredly finishing my bracket. Why Yahoo thinks the first 30 seconds of one game invalidates my entire bracket, I can't say, but as it stands... I'm getting a big fat zero. Boo.

Tough luck. Should have gone for the auto fill when you got close. Basketball

Look at it this way.. You'll have fewer bad picks.

That sucks! Post your bracket and we'll calculate it by hand to see how you would have done.

Ah crap. I missed the deadline and the games didn't start for another few minutes.

I guess I got into my work bracket though. Honestly I was just going to copy it over to here.

Agreed, post your bracket, and be the object of ridicule, or just send it to blacksheep via PM and let him calculate it....and post your results.

My bracket is over on ESPN if anyone would like to ridicule it. Really unsure about the Gonzaga in the final four pick... Wisconsin and Ohio State are pretty good imo.

My bracket gives them 100% chance so they better.

Some analysts said Pitt would be a tough match-up for Gonzaga in Rd 3. Not so much, since they got blown out by Wichita St. in the 8v9 game. The Big Least does it again.

Well...I figured Pitt might make it one round. I was unsure in that 8/9 moreso than the others. I went with Pitt. Hopefully my other 8/9 games work out better.

SMC was down 15 early to Memphis, and fought back to get close with their usual gritty play. They actually had a shot at the buzzer to win. But their shooting was poor all day, and they weren't able to beat the more athletic Tigers.

Wow, 14 seed Davidson blew their game by turning it over with a one point lead and 6.7 seconds left. Marquette had made three 3s in a row to close the score, and scored with 1 second to go.

And just when I was all set to make another Big Least post.

Zags not looking great today, only up 2 with five minutes to go.

Update: Zags hang on and win 64-58. Pangos saves the day. Lots of nervous Zag fans currently wiping their brows and saying "we had it all the way." Razz

Oregon and their #12 seed come through 68-55 over OK St. They were such a popular pick for an upset that I didn't take them in my bracket. #againstthegrain Oh, well.

Picking winners based on beer

Pretty horrible piece. At least he could have looked up some beers on ratebeer or something when he had no clue. Although, I will somewhat defend his Michigan St. pick. Bell's does make some pretty tasty brews. Hopslam and Two Hearted are definite go tos. Kansas does have a pretty good brewery, Talgrass and it is actually located in Manhattan. Basically, this guy had no clue. East Coast Beer couldn't hold West Coast Beer's coozie.

Oh yeah, and, Basketball!

Yeah, I wondered why he gave Wisconsin credit for good beer, and didn't give any credit to Marquette. I just thought the topic was funny given our tendencies here at PN.

Curse you Charles Barkley...I only picked SMC 'cause you said, "St. Mary's has NO chance against Memphis."
