I saw this AP headline this evening:
Tot hits from midcourt to give William & Mary 79-77 win

A blast from the past. Oliver Tot, a Reveno-era recruiting target for the class of 2014, ended up going to William and Mary, where he's now a senior. Seeing his name in the headline prompted me to look back over this thread, and then look up Tot's career at W&M. PilotNation was sold on this guy, but as with so many of Reveno's recruits he has not been a meaningful contributor as a DI college basketball player.

So far this year he's averaging 13.8 minutes and 2.0 points per game -- which are career highs in both categories.

Back to 2014... When Tot didn't commit to UP, the Pilots extended an offer to D'Marques Tyson. The rest of our class that year consisted of Jason Todd, Gabe Taylor and Phillip Hartwich.

Finally, here's video footage of Tot's game-winning half-court buzzer beater:

Reading back over this thread made me curious about what happened to some of the other recruits that Reveno was after in 2014...

Jadon Cohee played two years at Seattle U before transferring and sitting out last season at Southern Utah. So far this year he is SUU's leading scorer at 18.4 points/game.

Kaleb Warner left Pacific after one year, played his sophomore season at North Idaho College, his junior year at Rockhurst University in Missouri, and is now a senior at Western Oregon.

Jacob Lampkin played three years at Pacific, and is now a senior at Alaska-Anchorage.

Vasilije Pusica played two years at USD, and is now in Boston at Northeastern University.

Kingsley Okoroh, who initially committed to Tennessee and then followed Coach Martin to Cal, has stuck it out with the Golden Bears even after Martin jumped ship to Missouri. He's now a senior, averaging 27.8 minutes, 6.7 points and 6.3 rebounds for a pretty bad (by Pac12 standards) Cal team.

Nate Sherwood, from West Albany HS, went to Idaho. Seems like UP never made him a scholarship offer. He was injured and redshirted his first year. He's now a junior. Averaging 13.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and shooting .571 from the field. (In other words, better than any of the guys who came to UP in 2014).
