2011 WCC XC Championships - Live Stream!

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced that it will broadcast the 2011 Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships live from the Crystal Springs Course in Belmont, Calif. on October 29. The livestream will be available at the Cross Country Championships Central page on WCCsports.com and YouTube.com.


The broadcast will be produced by WebStream Productions, one of the nation’s leaders in live-streaming and content creation. Viewers will see the start and finish, as well as the key checkpoints on the course via a four-camera shoot with graphics and commentators.


This year’s race will feature all nine WCC schools, including BYU, who will be racing for the first time at a West Coast Conference championship. The Portland men’s team has won 32 consecutive WCC titles. The competition will also look to unseat two-time defending champion San Francisco on the women’s side.


The men’s race on Saturday will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed immediately by the women’s race at 9:45 a.m. Visit WCCsports.com for more information on Saturday’s race, including video previews later in the week.

ekrauss wrote:So, the streak ends at 32. We actually didn't run badly, it was just that BYU had more depth. I am a bit worried that we over-extended ourselves at this meet and will not do well at regionals and nationals. The good news is that Fauble and Perry did a fairly good job as number 5 and 6 men. If everyone stays healthy and runs to their potential, we could sneak into 5th or 6th place at nationals. If we are worn out, who knows? And BYU could very well finish second or third at nationals.
