Pilots up 2-1, a few minutes into the second half, after trailing 1-0. Go Pilots.

If LMU (up 2-1 at the half over the Zags), Santa Clara (tied 1-1 at the half with SMC) and Portland all win--and if my math is right--there will be 5 teams within a point of one another going into the final weekend (SMC at 5-3-2 for 17 points, and UP, LMU, SCU and USD all at 5-4-1 for 16 points).

Way to go Pilots!!!

In other WCC action: LMU 4-1 over Gonzaga. Santa Clara 2-1 over St. Mary's in a game that featured a St. Mary's PK miss in the 84th minute and two SCU yellow cards in the 90th minute.

If I'm counting right, the Pilots are now in a 4-way tie (with Santa Clara, LMU and San Diego) for second place, one point behind St. Mary's. Next weekend should be interesting.

It's all to play for! After digging a hole with their early conference season woes, even though the Pilots don't exactly control their own destiny, if they take care of business they've got a chance. Even if they win both games but don't win conference, 12 wins might be enough to get them a look at the playoffs... although I don't know all the RPI calculations and such
