Yep he is according to this article. Kameron is Canaan's son. Although it may be a stretch to get him for 2014. Then again, who can really project what'll happen for the program in a couple years?

Jake Ehlers Watch:

Last week, in their first game of the season, Corvallis beat West Salem 58-43; our man Jake had 29 points and 10 rebounds. Yesterday Corvallis beat North Eugene70- 44, with Jake scoring 20 points to lead the defending state 5A champions to a road win.

Jake will bring the Spartans to Portland on December 16 and 17 when they play in the four-team (Sunset, Central Catholic, North Salem, Corvallis) Halligan Winter Classic at Central Catholic High School.

After Christmas Jake returns to the area to play in the Les Schwab Classic December 26-30 at Liberty High School in Hillsboro. Corvallis opens against Lincoln at 4PM on Tuesday December 27. The Spartans could end up playing one of the top teams in the country, Oak Hill Academy out of Virginia on the 28th. In the past 14 years, Oak Hill Academy has finished in the top seven of the national top 25 rankings each time; finishing fourth last year.
Also in the Spartan’s bracket are Westview, Jefferson, Wilsonville, and Yates, from Houston. The other bracket includes Southridge, Central Catholic, Dayton, Lake Oswego, Benson, North Salem, Jesuit, and Riverside Academy from New Orleans.

So, even if the Pilots aren't in town, a future Pilot will be! santa

Jake put the team on his back Saturday:

Jake Ehlers scored 36 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as the Spartans rolled in overtime to take out Sunset, 69-60, in the Central Catholic tournament.

Corvallis (3-1) trailed by five points with 31 seconds left in regulation. After pulling to within two after an exchange of free throws, the Spartans tied it when Matherin Langley drove the length of the court and found Ehlers, who sank a 5-footer at the buzzer to sent it into OT. cherry
