Soccer America named Michael Gavin to it's Team of the Week for his stellar defensive play against San Diego and LMU last week
and his game winner in overtime against San Diego.
The Pilots defense has been playing really well. The team's made it onto two rankings lists, currently have a 42 RPI ranking, and are finally getting noticed.The last score against us was 5 games ago.
They Play ranked Cal Poly (31 RPI) away on Friday, and then come home to play WCC champ Santa Clara (9 RPI) on Sunday at 3 PM
Two wins will certainly earn them a tournament spot. One win (Especially if it's SC) might do it.
I plan to watch the women on TV, then head to Merlo to see a real barn burner
