US v Colombia

Post by Harry Redknapp on Sat Jul 02, 2011 9:51 am

Half time in the game. Does Pia S have the same courage as the German coach who benched Birgit Prinz? Abby Wambach not getting it done. Looks slow and clumsy and off her game. Bring on Alex Morgan for AW. (Wambach will now score a hattrick to prove me wrong!)

Now we need to replace the ineffective LePeilbet with Stephanie Cox.

Abby giving up the ball now in the box... Shocked Seems like she's not wanting to try to finish things anymore. Foudy says it right...Abby in a mental funk..lost her confidence...killer instinct! C'mon Abby!

Commentators keep talking about Wambach as unlucky. At one point she had eight shots and only one on goal. That's not luck: that's bad finishing.

I'm gonna say it. If Megan doesn't get AROD's spot, Pia goes into the Ryan- April category.

the O has an AP article up. Other than the writer doesn't know that the singular female of alumnus is alumna, it's pretty good.
