Copa America

Post by Geezaldinho on Fri Jul 01, 2011 5:33 pm

Women's World Cup just not enough soccer for you at two games a day?

Like to see the Copa but you did not spring for that Latin American dish package that only costs a little more that college tuition for the twins?

cheer up bunky. you can see the whole thing from Argentine TV channel 26 on the web pay per game

http://www.26noticias.com.ar/index.html (in Castellano)
also for pay at:
http://tv.univision.com/telefutura/ (but they speak Mexican.)

OR for FREE on YOUTUBE!

http://www.youtube.com/copaamerica (in boring English)

special bonuses if you watch it on canal26.com :

1) you get to learn Spanish the way it is spoken in Argentina, where it is called castellano (say kaas-tay-jano now)
2) they will probably blather on for hours about all the ins and outs of the River Plate relegation affair during every broadcast
3) Andrés Castor will almost certainly be there to shout "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL" at every opportunity.
4) Argentine beer adds!

But i know you are cheapskates, so its some Brit voice for you....

ON NOW Argentina v. Bolivia

funny to see the fans in heavy coats. it's 2º C in La Plata, SE of Buenos Aires... (35º F, for you old school types)
