Sophie is really playing well today. Do you suppose Garrett is in Germany?

Re: Canada's run at the Cup
Tough loss of possession for Sophie, and of course JUST after Tony Diccio was lauding her composure and possession....
But yeah, uh, 2 players were well offsides.... And man, they are letting the French just brutalize on those 50-50s, Christine probably should have worn body armor to go with the bandit mask...

Re: Canada's run at the Cup
I'm waiting for the Canadian Walter Cronkite to pop up and say "I thought we were winning this war, eh!?!" from the sideline...

Re: Canada's run at the Cup
Well, that didn't go well.
Canada gets blown out, won't get out of the group, and Christine looks like she was in Raging Bull.
I had hopes for our neighbors to the north

"No Canada." I saw part of the first half, and was totally shocked to check in 50 minutes later and see that score. Ouch. That's a tough loss for 2 of the best Pilots ever.

Re: Canada's run at the Cup
Watching Christine and Sophie (as well as Stephanie and Megan) makes me remember thinking "What will we do next year when they're gone?"
It is indeed a tribute to Garrett and the staff that they reload annually with student athletes who keep us asking "What will we do..."
