Last series of the year, Santa Clara

It took me until the end of May but I finally made it to a live baseball game this year. Pretty good one, Kyle Kraus went the distance and the Pilots won 5-3. They got 7 innings in before the rain came, went inside Chiles for an hour, then came out to watch the end.

Same teams Saturday and Sunday at 1.

Got even better today. Scoreless for 8, SCU gets one in the top of the the 9th, Pilots get two. Walk off sac fly. Tomorrow they go for the sweep on Senior Day.

I love baseball again.

Pilots complete the season-ending sweep, beating the Broncos 6-5, a great way to send off the seniors.

The Pilots end the WCC season 11-10, and tied for 3rd place. The UP baseball program is on the upswing! Let's hope we can keep the momentum going next season.

Well the Dons shut out #12 UCLA 3-0 last night, out-hitting the Bruins 11-4. So they've started out well.
