Who's got the edge? Rooney or Messi? Messi's been playing great, but Rooney's got home field.

Rooney is in his home country but Wembley full of sponsor guests and folks who could afford the $400 nosebleed seats isn't the same as Old Trafford.

I should be more excited about this game but I just can't be bothered. The Champions League doesn't do it for me anymore.

Messi wins with the #2 and #3 players and the top 2 central defenders in the world on his side

Been watching the pre game. No danger of this game being underhyped.

This pre-game show has to be one of the more patronizing introductions I've ever seen...

What? Were you offended by the " they have to use their feet" line?

Rooney and co ran themselves out in the first 10

It took 27 minutes for the inevitable.

Between that, the NFL intro music. and calling the Foot Guards that brought out the trophy "Beefeaters"... If the dancing robot thing comes out I will officially lose my mind...

Messi caught them napping.

The third goal was simply brilliant.

Or as Tommy would say " magisterial"

The only thing stopping Barca is Chapter 11 (or whatever they call it in Spain)...

New edict for Sir Alex: Find diminutive yet skilled argentine and load him up with HGH then stop paying players... It works like magic! Oh and find a guy with a soul patch.

I gotta say the Champs League trophy has to be the coolest in sports that isn't named after some Stanley guy...
