Wear a Bowtie on Thursday

Hey everyone, just a heads up that UP is asking everyone to honor Mauro by wearing a bowtie to Thursday's game. The coach's will be wearing bowties and there will be a chunk of them made available to students too, but what will make this cool is if everyone wears brings a bowtie from home to wear too.

And please spread the word, or bring some extras to give to your neighbors (they'll give them back, I promise!).

Okay - time to fess up: who amongst us actually owns a bow tie??

My bet is that DTR definitely does! He is such a man about town.

Do clip on bow ties count?

Guilty as charged! Although I'm not sure I will be able to make it for the game...

Yes, clip-ons count, and yes, I own a bowtie... a black one AND a tan one. Booyah!

I have never owned a bow tie... in fact the only times I have worn one was with the occasional rental tux...

I only own a black one personally...

But I have access to blue, plaid, black with gold stars and red! (And yes they are the hook and loop variety, I couldn't tie a real one if my life depended on it...)

I own a bowtie, tux-pants with suspenders and costume cufflinks. It's my go-to Halloween costume.

You know at least a few students are going to show up with the bow tie t-shirt. Tributes to Sinatra should also be encouraged!

I do believe I still have at least one hook and loop one at my house. I had/possibly have more.
