The Waves have been strong as of late, not a HUGE shock (especially on the road), but man oh man Tim... You had 9 seconds to find a better shot than a wild drive RIGHT in front of your coach. Sigh, growing pains.

Well, that's disappointing. Timmy had a couple decent looks there but I think he could have done more. Also that late missed FT by Luke...man. And Jared, talk about cold. Let's hope he snaps out of that quickly.
Just goes to show how difficult it is to win on the road, no matter who the opponent may be. A win Saturday would salvage this trip, but I can't say I'm confident we'll win that. When you win a close game by one or two at home and then play that same opponent on the road later that year, you lose almost 80% of the time, and by an average margin of about 7 points (kenpom - "The head-to-head fallacy").

Looks like we'll get an "extra" game in Vegas. I wonder if we'll get to 20 wins before then? Maybe not.

That one was tough to swallow. Should have had that one but hard to win when the buckets arent falling. Off nights happen, part of the game. Stohl has contributed sooooo much to the team that one cant fault a bad shooting night plus Pepperdine played good defense on him all night.
Why didnt coach go with Tanner after he came out hot? I would have liked to see if he couldnt have contributed in the second half.
BIG congrats to Sikma for his rebounding record, only a "taking charges award" would characterize a more manly record, wait he would have won that too!
Well, heres to getting the win tomorrow!

The new game plan is to lose out, so the Pilots can be Underdogs & a bottom seed for the WCC tourney...not sure if williams, the Prez , or influential alums are on board for that though..
(note to self, congrats for sleeping through the Pilots game in Malibu..) one benefity about having a crappy job with jacked up hours of employment...lol
