It's official. Marta will rejoin Christine (and join Elli and Alex Morgan) on the western NY Flash. The first year team will no doubt be favorites to win it all.

Women's Soccer News: Boston Breakers Re-Sign Elli Reed for WPSL Elite League Season

The Boston Breakers announced that they have re-signed defender Elli Reed for the 2012 Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Elite League season. Reed, a member of the U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team, was the number one ranked defender going into the 2011 Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) draft and was originally chosen by Western New York Flash with the number eight pick. After being released at the end of spring training, Reed signed with Boston and played nine games during the WPS 2011 season, starting five and amassing 502 minutes.
