He has said that he wants to go out on top while he still has gasoline in the tank, and it sounds like they likely will have a place in the front office for him at Sounders FC. The flame of the Sounders vs. Timbers rivalry isn't going to die anytime soon. In fact, I think the MLS made a rule change, granting 500 tickets for the visiting team of the rivalry...anticipating that fans will travel well for these games.

It was raised to 500. In 2010 there were 600+ members of the Timbers' supporters trust, so there will have to be some sort of lottery system for fans who want to buy an away ticket. The league minimum used to be 150 which would have been absolutely ridiculous for a Cascadia derby game.
