Luke is doing an awesome job on the boards. It is uncanny how he has an almost sixth sense about where the ball is and how to get into position to grab the rebound. I have watched him and one thing he does very well is when the shot goes up he doesnt watch the flight, but rather starts gathering position early. Probably learned that from his dad..

Yes, he's the best on the team by far at gathering his position and blocking out. He's a fundamentally sound player, and it was great to see him get a career high in points recently as well. I can't help wondering if some of the top mid-major rebounders like Luke might get a tryout at the next level when it's all said and done...

More and more guys from the mids are making it to the NBA. The Blazers are full of them. They'll find you and give you a chance, especially big men.
