Pilots Fall to SDSU!

Post by MesaPilot1 on Sun Nov 11, 2007 9:48 am

Basketball Another game in which the pilots were competive and showed their improvement.
The 2nd game in a row that they were competive and had poor outside shooting while SDSU was knocking
down shots. The two bright spots in the game were Watson and Smeulders both played well. It seemed that the pilots were lacking in the quickness ,in which SDSU had alot of.
Reveno's comments on the Official Portland Site were acurate. It would be nice to see the men win today against Liberty which would help their cofience going into the Oregon Game.
Off to see the Liberty game!

shooting woes

Post by waynefan on Mon Nov 12, 2007 1:50 am

Did you say poor outsite shooting..? That's an understatement.
Pathetic is what I would label it. Portland shot 12% ,in the first half, from three point range. Uggghhh. They warmed up to 21% for the game.

This put a sick feeling in my stomach. Looking at the stats,
I was close to vomiting when Jared Stohl never got in the game.

It's simple math to me. The "Magician" never got to play his cards.
His deck is full of three's.
