Just wondering

I was just wondering what y'all think about who one plays leading up to the tournament. Is it better to play lesser opponents or better opponents? There are certainly arguments to be made both ways.

I like how the WCC schedule has worked out this year. We had a lot of tough non-conference games this year. Then there were a couple weekends of conference games before the challenges of USD and SCU. Then a couple weekends where maybe we can work on lineups, get some players some rest, etc. before the tournament.

I especially like having the two one-game weekends at the end of the season. Gives time to work on things in training and rest up anyone who is tired or a little dinged up.

I don't think who we play at the end of the season matters so much as how many games we play.

Playing one game each weekend at the end of the season was really smart by the conference, IMO.
