There are a lot of times I feel like Im totally out of touch with what I am seeing on the field because nobody else seems to notice. The Pepperdine game, with about 5-6 minutes left in the 1st half the girls played their best offensively all game. I believe Frisbie an Cruz were up top; Keelin was the attacking mid an Halley was the d mid. In my ever so humble opinion [really!], that was the best the offense looked since Sophie left . As much as we love Keelin as the d mid, she is equally dynamic at the attacking mid!! I think that's why we went into the half with 2 shots on goal beause Keelin got free an took them!

I actually thought this was one of the good periods of the game for the Pilots and made me think we could eventually break through Pepperdine's pressure at least once.

As I mentioned bout the LMU game I had several co-workers with me so I couldn't watch the game as i normally do. They are newbie's for the most part to U of P. One thing I told them is that of the players on this theam that may eventually play for the US National team are #1 Clohee, #2 Keelin; an after watching Keelin as the attacking mid, I think her future is even brighter!

How healthy are we? Olivier? Kendall -she looked like she was favoring her leg. And with Kendra back this weekend (which is great) we all will be keeping our fingers crossed. Anyone know why Parker left the game early Sunday? Or Bridges? Her, Cruz, and Halley really picked it up as a previous poster noted.

I didn't think Parker had a good first half, and I think I heard or read somewhere that Garrett had a talk with her as she came out, or after she came out. I posted earlier that I am GUESSING he might have been talking to her about being more assertive. Anyway, that is my "maybe" opinion about why she came out.

I REALLY, REALLY hope you're right about Kendra playing this weekend.

I talked to her dad during the men's game last weekend, and he expected maybe the next home game.

I love the way information gets shared here. A lot of voices and viewpoints, everyone adding what they saw or heard or think. No one of us holds all the answers, and we can never all see a game or a player or a strategy the same way. But as a group we create a wide-ranging, thoughtful and informed forum -- a thing of rare beauty. Pilot Nation is the most fun I have online.

purple haze, i love you; so diplomatic!
as for injury an the such to m.o., I have asked if m.o. is injured an i havent heard a word while i KNOW the 'nation' is connected!
I also noticed that the brace on Kendall's knee is bigger than it had been. As previously stated, Kendall had a 'sleeve; on her knee. She now has a 'sleeve' with some hardware in it an that just showed up this last game.
As for Parker, I was pleased with her outing in the LMU game an was almost convinced I judged too harshly. As Fan from a Far noted, I agree with 'fan', garrett was not pleased with her performance, an I agree. I could expand on my thoughts but Im sure I would be looked upon as taking 'shots' at our girls.
I dont take 'shots', im just expressing my opinions. Im a fan, but not a Fanatic! I am not blind, I recognize weaknesses an flaws. That being said, I really love this team regardless!
By the way, this last weekend, not only was angie at the game[s], but i also saw michelle scifo, kelsey davis an rebecca meierbectal

Nice to see Kendra get a couple minutes to knock the rust off.

Am I wrong? I thought Kendall played with no leg support of any kind.

FFA

I'm with you on this one. I did not see any leg support on Kendall last night.

Correct, no leg support. I watched the game a second time when my wife got home and looked to see.
