UPmen drop one to LMU

The UP men dropped a 2:3 decision to LMU to split the weekend down South.

This one was uglier than it looked at first glance. They were down 0:3 at the half.

The second half was apparently all pilots, but it was too big a hole to climb out of.

The last 15 minutes seemed pretty wild.

LMU now leads the conference.

Very good display by the second half subs (mainly freshmen) to make this one very close (a post and a header just over the bar).Coaches may have had something to say at the half to influence the result. Very attractive soccer from both teams - just not at the same time. LMU sat back a bit in the second half and almost paid the price for letting the Pilots play the ball around. This one could be chocked up as a learning experience - look forward to the rematch at Merlo.
